What’s it like to be one of the best golfers on the planet? It’s been a learning experience, says Viktor Hovland, the first guest on the debut episode of The Scott Verplank Show on Sellout Crowd.

Scott Verplank kicked off his new show on Sellout Crowd by bringing in one of the top golfers in the world. 

Verplank visited with Viktor Hovland, the No. 4-ranked golfer in the world and winner of three events last season. What did Hovland, a former standout at Oklahoma State, think of his epic season? 

“I feel like 2023 was a big year of development. I figured out some stuff that I hadn’t figured out before,” Hovland told Verplank. 

The pair talked about the best aspects of Hovland’s game, how he got his start in golf (including how Tiger Woods inspired a young Hovland back in Norway) and how he’s adjusting to his new home in South Florida.
