WATCH: Can Gov. Kevin Stitt save Bedlam? Would he?
The Berry Tramel Show: Gov. Kevin Stitt says Florida has a state law requiring the Gators and Seminoles to play football, and while that’s enticing to fans who want Bedlam preserved, he also understands the motivation behind the rivalry going on hiatus.
Gov. Kevin Stitt was a high school football player of some note in Norman. Now he’s mostly a fan and even joined in the OSU locker room Bedlam celebration. Stitt says the lessons he learned on the high school gridiron reverberate to this day, and he even shares a crazy story from middle school in which he beat the opposing kicker to the ball on a field-goal attempt. The governor and I talked about all that and more on this week’s episode of The Berry Tramel Show.
