At Sellout HQ, we were all prepared for our teammate Sam Mayes to blow his top. His Oklahoma State Cowboys had lost (badly) to South Alabama, a team supposed to contend … for a Sunbelt Conference title.

But in his postgame reaction, Sam played it cool. He wasn’t throwing anything but the facts he saw them.

South Alabama was just more talented on Saturday night in their 33-7 win over OSU, Mayes said. Because of that, it is time for the Cowboys to make some decisions.

“ Gunnar Gundy is QB1,” Sam said. “Why? Because he’s got a serviceable arm, and he’s the most athletic quarterback they have.”

OSU stayed with its three-quarterback rotation against South Alabama.

For the rest of Sam’s analysis of OSU’s upset, watch his video here and/or on the Sellout Crowd YouTube Channel.
