WATCH: Bill Hancock dives into College Football Playoff controversy
The Jenni Carlson Show: Oklahoma native Bill Hancock is retiring as CFP executive director. Instead of riding off into the sunset, he and the selection committee are enduring the wrath of many after leaving Florida State out of the four-team playoff.
Bill Hancock has been one of the most powerful people in college athletics, leading the men’s Final Four, the BCS and now the College Football Playoff. But as the Oklahoma native prepares to retire, he and the playoff are embroiled in controversy over their decision to leave Florida State out of the four-team field. Hancock talks about what selection weekend was like and what he saw inside the committee room as well as reflecting on his five decades of college athletics administration. All of that and much more on The Jenni Carlson Show.
