Welcome back, Kelvin Sampson, to Lloyd Noble Center

Kelvin Sampson took the Sooners to the Final Four and now he’s done the same at Houston, where his Cougars are ranked No. 1. And Saturday, Sampson makes his Lloyd Noble Center return, as Houston plays at OU.

Kelvin Sampson has the gang back together — former Sooners Quannas White, Hollis Price and Kellen Sampson have helped Kelvin turn Houston in a college basketball power. The Cougars have been to the 2021 Final Four and now are ranked No. 1. Kelvin brings his Cougars to OU on Saturday night for a game at Lloyd Noble Center, and he joined The Berry Tramel Show to talk about Sooner memories.

Berry Tramel is a 45-year veteran of Oklahoma journalism, having spent 13 years at the Norman Transcript and 32 years at The Oklahoman. He has been named Oklahoma Sportswriter of the Year by the National Sports Media Association. Born and raised in Norman, Tramel grew up reading four newspapers a day and began his career at age 17.
