James Winchester spent three years out of football after finishing up his eligibility at OU. But a decision to attend a special teams tryout camp — and spend several hundred dollars on it instead of his upcoming wedding — changed the trajectory of his life. Now a three-time Super Bowl champion, the Kansas City long snapper talks about his road from Washington, Oklahoma, to the top of the football mountain.
