Voters for NBA Rookie of the Year have an unenviable task: choosing between Victor Wembanyama and Chet Holmgren. Both are having spectacular rookie seasons. The good news for the Thunder, though, is that it knows better now what it has in Holmgren. The big man has been unbelievable on both ends of the court, and even though he was expected to be good, being this good on offense and defense? It’s the kind of thing that could alter the short- and long-term success of the Thunder. Berry and I discuss all of that and much more — including the NBA players whose physical stature made us sit up and take notice — on this week’s Jenni & Berry Show.

Episode highlights:

1:45: Chet Holmgren makes everyone sit up and take notice when he has these explosive stretches

4:20: Holmgren is an analytic dream

5:45: The Thunder’s big three are all two-way stars.

8:15: Remember when Holmgren hit the rookie wall? Yeah, that seems long ago and far away to us, too

10:30: Who wins Rookie of the Year, Chet or Wemby?

14:00: What NBA players besides Victor Wembanyama did you find it impossible to take your eyes off?

18:15: Could Thursday’s Thunder-Spurs game decide Rookie of the Year?

22:00: Any downside to Holmgren?

23:45: How will Holmgren fare in the playoffs?
