When Bob Stoops took over in 1999, the Oklahoma football program was not in the best shape, but with the help of a coaching staff that included Mark Mangino and Cale Gundy along with a talented roster, the Sooners were able to find the perfect recipe that produced a 2000 national championship.

On this episode of “Conversations with Coach,” Stoops, Mangino and Gundy reminisced about what made that team special, Josh Heupel’s preseason speech of “Why not us?” and more stories from their years working together and friendship.
