In the much anticipated debut of quarterback Jackson Arnold, Oklahoma overcame a slow start and eventually took a halftime lead over Arizona. But the Sooners, who outgained the Wildcats 562-383, could not overcome six turnovers — and the 28 points Arizona scored off of them — and the Sooners lost the 2023 Alamo Bowl 38-24.
